First aid and Accident Prevention for Newborns and Young children Workshop (English-speaking)

A child’s birth brings immense joy but also excitement and concerns for new parents. Our goal is to provide essential knowledge that will hopefully ease their worries.

This workshop covers essential topics related to first aid and accident prevention for newborns, babies, and young children, including:

• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Foreign body airway obstruction
• Sudden Infant Death Syndrome
• Infant and childhood seizures
• Croup syndrome
• Asthma
• Poisoning
• Burns
• Shaken Baby Syndrome

The workshop includes:

• Theoretical instruction on key first aid concepts.
• Practical training with lifelike demonstrations.
• Q&A opportunities to address participants’ questions.

The workshop will be conducted by Zsuzsanna Szolnoki, M.D., Pediatrician and Neonatal Life Support (NLS) instructor.
